Languages give you the keys to the town

You learn the big languages of this world to communicate with a large number of people. But every language gives you a whole new world view and the opportunity to explore a whole new culture with its literature, music and song. I always learn at least a few words of the local language wherever I go and would encourage you to do the same as it makes people open up. Languages give you the keys to the town!
