Feer Anthem Internet Premiere

The “national anthem” of the Northern Frisian island of Feer/ Föhr in the local language: Fering, which is part of the Friisk or Northern Frisian family of dialects. This seems to be the first recording of it which is available on the internet. Friisk/ Fering is spoken on Feer by around 2000 people alongside German, Platt (low German) and Danish.

Feer is totally flat and this video was recorded in the Scottish Highlands.
